Bespoke Bureau reveals it’s latest property for Butler training.

Preparations are well underway for the next Residential Butler Training Course to be held in our stately home, just over an hour outside of London in Norfolk where we run our Butler residential courses in the UK.

The Estate, which is leased by Sara Vestin Rahmani for the courses is surrounded by great natural beauty and is a Royal Landmark in the UK.

“Morley Old Hall” provides both the venue for the training and accommodation for the participants.

Morley Old Hall History

Morley Old Hall is well documented in a number of reference books including Pam Boys’ “Beautiful Homes of Britain”, Pevsner’s “Buildings of England” and Burke’s “Guide to Country Houses”.

The house dates from the late 16th Century and was built by the Sedley Family who acquired the manor in 1545 and owned it until around 1790. The Hall is enclosed by an Anglo Saxon moat which was probably dug 700 years ago to make the walls for an earlier dwelling.
Ownership since 1790 has included Field Marshall The First Lord Ironside, who was Chief of the Imperial General Staff in May 1940 and Commander-in-Chief of Home Forces during the Second World War.
Other owners include Mrs Janet Shand Kydd, first wife of Peter Shand Kydd and stepfather of Diana, Princess of Wales.
Course dates are here and are various other dates over the year.  The course is intense, challenging, thorough but fun!  Learn the skills of a contemporary butler and the tools to work as an effective team member as you study alongside your fellow students in individual and group activities.  Living, cooking and learning together, professional friendships will be forged that last a lifetime.

If you are interested in enrolling, you need to be quick. Please call or email with any queries or just to find out what the course is all about.  Nothing ventured, nothing gained and there is no such thing as a ‘silly question’.
